Time spent on elections (from the position of a member of the commission) and salary

Large parties pay money to "their" members of the commission, for the fact that they correctly counted the votes and did not allow the fly. Different parties pay very differently, I would say it depends on the coolness of the party, I decided to calculate the total time spent on elections in 2010.

And there is also a dependence on the region, of course, i.e. in the village the prices are completely different.

The elections are held on January 17, 2010 in Ukraine, here is the datagraphy and the time spent, it of course still depends on the passage to the polling station – I will not count it.

1) Come to the headquarters of the party and write a statement, we had it coincided with the training, which took 2 hours of time.

Time spent: 3 hours

2) The first meeting of the members of the commission at the polling station, everyone got acquainted, exchanged contacts with the head of the commission.

Time: 2 hours

3) The second meeting of the commission. Preliminary lists were already ready, they had to write invitations to the elections, which were distributed to our homes. They had to be brought filled in 2 days.

Time: 1.5 hours

4) I had to come to give invitations with a list, in fact I spent time only on travel.

Time: 15 minutes

5) The third meeting of the commission, the question of lunches and applications and the schedule of duty was decided.

Time spent: 1.5 hours

6) Duty, it was necessary to be on duty from 14-00 to 18-00 at the polling station, while taking a statement that was almost non-existent. I mean, I read the book mostly.

Time taken: 4 hours

7) The fourth meeting of the commission, we finally received ballots that we had to count + prepare the polling station for the elections. At this meeting, almost everyone got into a fight, after all, 20 people and everyone has their own opinion on how to count them, these damn ballots. And the fact that the territorial district gave out in terms of the chancellery is just terrible, we managed to break 3 staplers. Why such a gavno to buy is not clear.

Time spent: 5.5 hours

8) Oh, I don't know why the meeting is on the 16th, but it is necessary, again everyone gathers at 19-00, we will decide something, it will be a day before the elections.

We gathered, prepared the room, pasted the house numbers above the table of the members of the commission, checked the booths, added handles.

Time spent: 2.5 hours

9) Election Day.

Described in this article.

Time spent: 24 hours

Payment:

It very much depends on which party you act and, accordingly, the region where you live. The state for 2 rounds of elections will pay about 200 hryvnia.

Parties in 2010 paid from 300 hryvnia to 300 dollars for two rounds.

The head of the commission, the secretary and the assistant head of the commission have a slightly higher salary and could reach $ 500.

Well, by the way, the candidates who abandoned their people in the elections became known: Moroz (socialist party)

And those who paid on time: Yanukovych (regions), Yatsenyuk, Tymoshenko

Total:

For the first round of elections, a total of about 43 hours were spent.
