Gorky Pub (Gorkiy Pub) – a small beer pub in the center of Kiev on Leo Tolstoy.

The pub is small, only one room. There are TVs and of course speakers (the old "Radio Engineering"). This pub is dedicated to the writer Maxim Gorky, so there are books by this author on the shelves.

Booze and food
The choice of beer is limited: light, dark + cider.
On strong alcohol: the choice is large, behind the bar is full of elite drinks.
From the food, either we were so lucky, or the institution changed a little and from the snacks to the beer was yellow minke whales and peanuts. In general, not densely.
Personal experience of visiting the Bitter Pub (Gorkiy Pub)
We decided to go to the institution by chance, someone heard something about him and decided to go for a beer.
We ordered 2 light beers, 2 teas and 2 coffees. Beer by the way Poltava. It tastes normal, but nothing special. Yellow minke whale was ordered for beer, because the choice was between it and peanuts. In general, there was no food in the pub that evening.
Beer cost 20 UAH per glass, Striper – 18 UAH.
For tea we were offered a cake from a neighboring store (or institution) for 32 UAH – we refused.
The pub is small and it feels like it's open to its own. That is, for friends and acquaintances of the owner of the institution.
The service is good by the way.
What we didn't like about the pub:
– Mini selection of beer and beer snacks.
– Tea from chlorinated water (there was such a feeling, although maybe the water was not from the tap)
In general, in my practice, this is the first such pub where there is little, although maybe we are just so lucky.
